Hey guys! It has been another 4 months or so since I posted last, so I thought it would be cool to let everyone know what's going on. Well, Lasse and I are getting married in exactly 52 days. Things are going good here in Lakeland. A couple of weeks ago I took my senior exit exam. It's an exciting time, because I am also trying to look for a temporary position at an accounting or financial firm in town. We'll see what happens. After the wedding, Lasse and I will spend Christmas break in Northern Finland - Skiing, relaxing, and taking a nice holiday together.

"Two are better than one" - Solomon was right! I encourage everyone to wait for the right one - God is good and Lasse is a huge blessing. I am looking forward to serving God and His Kingdom with him - No matter where we live, what our family is like, etc. I know that life is more rich and sweet with him. Thank the Lord. Plus, it is exciting feeling that there is someone with similar vision that is headed in the same direction, for the same purpose, who loves me and is committed to spending the rest of his life with me. Marriage is so powerful and so enriching. Praise God, from whom all blessings flow.

Well, I guess I will post about every 4 months or something. That seems to be the frequency so far...

Anyway, so much has been going on. I have been in Melbourne since school got out, and I am doing my financial internship at Rockwell Collins, a corporation in Melb. that builds aviation products. It's been great. I have learned so much and it has been an awesome opportunity - Not only to learn, make money, but to share our faith in Christ. I am so grateful!! Also, I have been able to spend time with my family and that has been great. It is nice to be a part of their loves again.

Also, I will be graduating with my BA in Finance this fall, so that is exciting too!!! But now, I am looking at finishing my internship and going to Finland on July 19th. I will be with Lasse and his family for a week in Nummela, FI and then we will go to Sweden for the Europe Conference. I am really excited about getting to know them all more and being there with the Ojala family.

So, I guess that's it for now...

What a month!!! A lot seems to be going on right now. I have been working quite a bit at Barnie's, so I am trying to put some money away and pay off some loans. Also, Lasse and I went home for Spring Break to visit my family. It was nice to see everyone and spend Easter with my family.  We need a lot of direction and guidence from the Lord. Sometimes when you are so sure that something is in the perfect will of the Father and you choose to walk in it, there can be some oppostition and difficulites that will try and discourage you from accomplishing the things God calls you to. It is necessary to have faith, because without faith it is impossible to please God.

Anyway, that it kind of where I am at. I want to have faith and do the things God has called me to, and not allow disouragement, opposition, finances, ot fear to stand in the way. Let us all step out of the boat and keep our eyes on Christ.

Well, I am finally working. This week I am putting in over 30 hours, hopefully that will not ahppen again. The good thing is that time is money. Anyway, it is a good job. The people are nice, and I know there will be plenty of opportunities to be a light and encouragement to many. Itsn't that the greatest thing? God lets us be His witnesses and He gives us the power and ability to do so. (Acts 1:8)

School is going alright also. My intermediate accounting II class is pretty hard but it is good to have a couple really challenging classes, especially because I am taking Intro to Film and some other classes where the material is easier.

Oh! Praise the Lord for He is Good and His mercy endures forever!!!  No matter what is going on in our lives, we must praise Him!! He is worthy.

The LORD IS GOOD and His mercies are new every morning! Isn't it great that we love and serve a God who is faithful!

Praise report! I now have a job. Yesterday I went into Barnie's (a coffee and tea place that I used to work) to turn in an application, and the manager hired me on the spot. The pay is pretty good and I think that it will be an awesome opportunity to get to know the workers and be apart of the community here in Lakeland. I don't like being in this small "Southeastern Bubble". It is a great school and I love the people, but it is also good to have connections and contcat with people from the outside world.
